Auriol SA is a medium-sized firm with approximately 50 employees.
Traditional craft know-how is backed up by a Design Office with high-performance technical tools.
In 1870 the AUSTRUY family built wood-working machinery in Marmande (France).
In about 1900 Fernand BUSSET, a brother-in-law, was operating a mechanics workshop and a forge. His interests were in food and agricultural machinery including steam engines, turbines, autoclaves and pressure cookers.
In 1919 his son-in-law Henri AURIOL joined the company and succeeded him on his death in 1927.
In 1954, his son Pierre AURIOL entered into a de facto company.
In 1980 saw the creation of a Joint-stock company with Pierre AURIOL as Chairman and Managing Director.
In 1988, AURIOL SA set up on a new site covering 5000m². Jean and Dominique AURIOL Joined the Company.
